That one is so sparkly, yes, it's probably worth it if it fits to the right buyer. The Seller must have replaced the decals; they look very good.

A conscientious Craig's list reader in Washington DC, get this ad:
Some other on the Washington DC Craig's List. I'd say this is a very nice conditioned Red Sebring. <----- This is the one in Old Town above; so it is a Sebring, nothing wrong with the fork. Duh! DC general search Viscount: washingtondc.craigslist.org/search/bik?query=viscount------------- Very original Aerospace GP in Boston. boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bik/5731890714.htmlI think it's all there, brake handles, Titlist, porthole crank, Birmalux and the "V" pedal cap on the driver's side at least, original. Maybe the caps are not on the brakes, it's a bit late, some have the red caps on the brakes too, don't they.

Some nice inexpensive aerospace models are showing up on Craig's List as of late. This GP for $50 looks great, and close by 54roadie. Are you in the market Frank?! racine.craigslist.org/bik/5723914585.htmlHere's an original owner from 1976 selling what looks like a Grand Prix based on the color and stem shifters for $100. May need to change the wheels if they're the original steel rims. washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bik/5742670825.htmlI wish I had the room for more, but maybe these can find a home with a forum member.

And I was just in Kenosha, before I saw this. Good thing, as I seriously don't need another assembly project until I get two or three of the ones on hand finished up properly.
That is a very pretty bike, Michael, nice find.

If I can describe this "coherently" On Viscounts, the derailleur cable guides are actually molded into the frame itself; it's not a separate chrome metal piece as it is on many bikes. Fuji does it on this bike. minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/bik/5745774871.htmlI guess it's a fairly common practise though. I have a Fuji in storage. I don't remember at this time.

Yes, £54GBP is a very nice price for a very nice bike. Is it the weather over in some parts of the US that helps keep these bikes in such good condition, or careful owners, or that people bought them and then didn't use them? They do come up in UK but more often than not, with plenty more corrosion and wear.

First off, I already posted this bike (purple Lambert), but I'm posting it again. It is pretty cool. I think they added some pictures, that was the problem with the old ad. Now, 14 pictures. Lambert: $400, about £308 pounds; so I think most of us would agree, that's rather steep, it is my size at 57 cm, 22 and a half inches about. Link, minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bik/5745478757.html"Handmade Vintage Lambert "Professional" 57 cm Aerospace Steel Alloy Frame. Early 70's welded frame. This Bike is a rare classic complete with all vintage parts. The fork alone has been sold for as high as $200.00 It is in excellent condition. NOTE: THE ORIGINAL DEATH FORK. THIS IS A COLLECTABLE BIKE AND SHOULD NOT BE RIDDEN UNLESS FORK IS REPLACED. The Cycle is in really good shape with a few paint nicks. Almost all parts are original except rims are upgraded to 36 hole super champion competition.$125+ Tires are nearly new Will meet cash only" I'll save a few pictures. This looks to be in good shape, another bike with a simplex derailleur. Lambert stamped shifters it looks like. Missing pedal dust cover cap I think.

A British Charge Hob bike, I looked up pictures, they do look keen. No picture of this ad, but I will add in description: milwaukee.craigslist.org/bik/5844210665.html"Bike For Sale-Eastside-British Carge Hob Mixte (Woman's)***** - $250 (Eastside) hide this posting © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap (google map) condition: like new make / manufacturer: charge model name / number: hob 3 My Bike was purchased for me special by a boyfriend who is a technician at a very reputable bicycle company in Chicago. THIS BIKE IS NOT USUALLY FOUND IN THIS COUNTRY. The times I have taken it out I was approached by so many other bicyclists who drooled over it and had to know how I got a Charge Hob (which is a British bike predominately). I love how the frame is a "step through" without that curvy/beach cruiser top tube. The placement of the linear top tube allows you to wear a skirt if you need, but maintains an athletic look and feel for more serious rides. It does have a few modifications that were done by a trained professional: There is only a front break with the lever on the R side of the handlebar The tires are off of a Fuji Feather CX (the white bike on our rack) The crankset is a Sugino Messenger (single speed) I want to say the seat post is Cinelli The stem cap is white (unsure of brand) The saddle is SUPER nice, but of course I forgot what it is The grips are just some cheap white "leather" ones I got from BikeSmiths There's a cute black and white bell and little flower pot bungee from urban outfitters She also has her front and rear fenders (shown in the promo picture of the bike) I'm 5'4" and it could comfortably fit someone a bit shorter or taller. I live on the eastside near UWM if you'd like to see it shoot me a text. It's a feminine, but very athletic bike in almost mint condition. $250 OBO!" -------------- Feel free to chime in, it sounds cool.

fortcollins.craigslist.org/bik/5841431198.htmlNice red Aerospace Sport; I like the bike boom touches, reddish grab-ons, the foam handlebar grips. Rear Mech/Derailleur, Tourney or does it say Tournament, crank too; worth a look. --------- Is this a red and white typical Aerospace, just that the colors got baked by the sun or some color scheme that we don't ordinarily see, orange and gray? I say faded but I could be wrong. Not sure what to think. boulder.craigslist.org/bik/5898153937.htmlRent is due and I am thinning out my bicycle collection. I have decided to part with my late 70s orange/blueish gray Viscount Aerospace Pro 10 speed bike, since I haven't ridden it much (if at all) in about 2 years. Great bike if you're just starting out with cycling and don't want to spend too much. I believe the frame to be 58cm. The fork is the Viscount version which addresses problems with failure people sometimes associate to these bikes. I have not had any problems in 7 years, nor the prior owner in 30 years, but you're welcome to change forks if you feel it will be a problem. Tires are 27x 1 1/4. The wheel set was replaced around 2011 and are lighter than the original set. The front light has an integrated reflector and is attached with a unique stem mount that leaves the handlebars open for other lights or accessories. You'll always have a front light! The rear mount works with multiple Planet Bike rear lights, but unfortunately the light was lost, so I can't include a rear light. (the pictures show a cateye light which slips out of the mount). please contact me if you have any additional questions. i can meetup in Longmont and the surrounding areas, but serious inquiries only please.

Like the front lamp on the grey/orange Viscount - where can I get one?
Perhaps the bike was originally grey and an owner added the orange to brighten it up?

At the bottom of a long downhill country lane yesterday, I had to brake hard and fast from the drops when I spotted the local postman's van and a car pulled up alongside each other, blocking the road, with the drivers having a chat. I was very grateful for my alloy rims' superior braking ability over chromed steel when wet. I only mention this because my fingers might not have been long enough to reach the flat-bar levers fitted to the drops in image 6 of this GP's listing. Any buyer might like to change them.
