$50 Cleveland Craig's list, this one is small: 10-Speed-Very Light English Viscount - $50 (Wellington)
cleveland.craigslist.org/bik/5456156042.html
It looks like it is all there, at times, yes, bikes that should be dusted show up but that's not too important.

The Cleveland one is tempting at $50. Anyone got ideas of what shipping costs would be over to UK?

I have no idea, it usually costs a lot to mail overseas but frames don't seem to expensive to mail. Perhaps someone else knows?

I found www.bikeflights.com to be a good deal on shipping and they do international. You can go on their website, put in some numbers on box size, and locations to get an idea on your shipping cost to the UK from the USA. Good luck!

The seller in this bike ad; sells a lot of bikes I take it and one can tell because he usually poses the bike in front of the stairs. Here is another one: chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/bik/5498677697.html" 1975 VISCOUNT Aerospace Sport - 59cm, RARE! Beautiful & pro-restored! - $280 (Round Lake Beach, IL)" The caption in case the link does not come out. Mostly original, "Viscount alloy chaing rings and crank." Not sure, that crank is vintage though.

Had my eye on that nice Lambert handlebar/stem that was on Ebay the past few days, along with other assorted Lambert parts. Apparently the seller sold it to someone a few days before the end of the auction. It's the last item I need to restore my Lambert, and it was in very good shape. I usually use phantom bidder and wait until the very end instead of tipping my hand. Curses..........

Shocked to find this red Lambert on the Minneapolis Craig's List; at $300 I think it is quite overpriced; maybe $200 and one could hope for the right buyer but maybe I'm wrong. 2 photos that don't tell us that much, it appears the pedal caps are missing on both sides but it is a porthole crank, it looks like a death fork and I can squint and see the decals to appear to be Lambert. It certainly appears to be filet-brazed. minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bik/5516814697.htmlAll the same, it looks solid. Though the seller/mechanic does not say so in this ad; I think he says in his other ads ("see other ads" buttons), "I am retired and refurbish bicycles for several charities in central MN. My bicycles are repaired and ready-to-ride." - minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bik/5480420266.html , so, I looked at some of his other bikes in the past, some of them certainly in my opinion are overpriced. This Sekine could conceivably be worth it to the right person.

If I lived in the US, I would be about $125 lighter in the pocket. That first one looks good, and the second , well worth $25 So, by the time I get to Phoenix....

I have a fairly good Craig's List story to tell, I won't say the brand name but I watched this bike go from $200 to the seller asking $75; it was a good bike in my opinion but I wrote the guy and said, it's too big of a bike for me or I'd get it and I told him they were wonderful bikes. He wrote back and said, well, maybe he, the seller, should keep it. It looks like it got removed. I hated seeing it up there. The bike realistically, was probably in the $100-$125 range. Maybe he decided to keep it. I told him I lived rather close to him; so maybe he took it as friendly advice.

Is this the same Viscount that one of the forum members here has owned? I'm not sure and there are a lot of people living in New York and now, this one is being sold from Greenwich Village. It could be different because I'm not seeing the Yamaha letter being put on display so pardon me if this is the same ol' same ol'. newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/bik/5555755664.htmlI think it might be a different one because I don't recall the gold-plate "Galli" brakes. It's not cheap so I guess, this is just an item of interest.

It's not cheap so I guess, this is just an item of interest. This is brining back vague recollections for me. The owner did arrive here maybe 2 years ago, and high hopes of selling this . He referred to it as a 'gold' limited edition at the time, which is slightly misleading.(but pretty sure it had the gold Galli levers, as some discussion took place around them) It is either the same guy and same set of photos or it sold and is now back up for sale. My guess is it never sold and it's the same seller. UPDATE - All I could find was one reference on the forum, and then I had an exchange of emails with him (which included some of the same pics, but some updated ones). Username Tractt, about half way down, his name is Mike. he was in Buffalo, New York lambertandviscount.online/thread/103/aerospace-model-wanted-midlandsAND ANOTHER UPDATE - Here was the actual thread, where I posted up his pics for him on here lambertandviscount.online/thread/116/mikes-bike-sale

Non-Viscount Related: We mentioned Green Bay the other day, I posted this over at bikeforums.net; so there is a picture for "posterity" or at least for some time coming: www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/561211-ebay-craigslist-finds-you-looking-one-these-part-ii-1369.html#post18721062Post #34212 This is a rather unique bike and one that I would not be surprised to see snapped up quickly. I guess there is the possibility this could be some very nice bicycle. Apparently, very fine tubing and yes, CuttersRidge is my name over there; I hardly ever posted there after joining back cerca 2007; the Cutters are the group in the movie "Breaking Away". A little blurb on the bicycle budget centre's sale of a $650 "Detel", the next model up; there were only two models. Looks like the colour here is what one would call "pewter".

Viscount V2000 (San Francisco CL): sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/5565331454.htmlIf this one stays up for sell and the ad is not deleted before others see it, note the head badge. Triangular. It's also interesting how the down tube and seat tube seem to show some wearing/fading on them in the same places. Nicely lugged, interesting bike. A quick check does not turn up another bike called the V2000, I think I will check the data base and add it in if it is not there.

It's almost as if the head badge is alluding to the 'V' in the title. Very nice indeed. Would anyone in the US be able to text the seller and ask if he would take a head on photo of the head badge? I've mentioned before , but these seemed to be a US model exclusive (well, let's put it this way - I have never seen an original advert for the V series in UK and have never seen a second hand one for sale here either)

I found a nice, inexpensive light blue Aerospace Gran Touring in the Washington, DC area a few weeks ago on Craig's List. It's my size and very original. Same bike I bought back in Buffalo, NY exactly 40 years ago on May 11th, 1976 only this time in the correct size.. I've got only the stem, front derailleur, and brakes left and it's now set up as a cruiser style. I couldn't resist "just one more!". I'll be down in the area in a few weeks and the seller is being very nice and holding it for me. Hopefully all will go well. Kind of like my "Rosebud" for the Citizen Kane fans.
Jem, I've got the US brochure on the V series. There wasn't much previous interest but if you would like me to post a larger, readable version (compared to my first poor attempt), give me the word.
Cheers, Michael

This ad goes up constantly. He's been looking for the Viscount tubular wheels for over a year. Since putting tubies on mine last year, I can see why - the ride is spectacular. But I do not believe I ever saw an OEM tubular equipped Viscount in Chicago, ever.

This one is mine! You must be the fellow that let me know that you posted the above link. Thank you! I didn't know this forum existed. I'm glad to answer any questions anybody has and of course, work with you on buying or shipping it if you like. I'm not an expert on these bikes, so if there is any incorrect info in my ad, please let me know! Also, price is flexible. I more want it to go to a good home. Thanks much.

Good condition, shifters modified and no seat. minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/bik/5640275185.htmlPeople say to try to bargain them down on Craig's List; maybe $60 would be a proper asking price? Though, I'm not a real haggler. Chicago, Viscount V300 (?) , I'd have to look up the "models listing": chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/5659518528.htmlSan Francisco: sfbay.craigslist.org/search/bia?query=viscountSeattle: seattle.craigslist.org/search/bia?query=viscountseattle.craigslist.org/search/bia?query=viscount Not sure if this exact model comes out but a red Reynolds replacement fork. "1975 Viscount Pro 3.75 lbs. 4130 Chrome-moly racing frame, 60cm with horizontal dropouts. That being said, if you are interested in more than the frame, this is a working classic 10-speed with a Reynolds 401 replacement front fork. Everything works and many of the original parts have been replaced (Handle bar stem, crankset, wheels.) Still has the original Lambert/Viscount brakes and seat post. This is a collector's bike, the history of which is that it was manufactured by Yamaha America when they bought out all of Lambert's stock. They came up with the Chrome-moly frame to make an extremely advanced bicycle for the time. The frame is still sought-after. The "suicide fork"has been replaced (orange in photo) but the original fork is included - this alone is worth up to $500 to collectors! Se the original product brochure at: moonmoth.net/Bicycle/viscount.htm "

Haven't been keeping track as closely but here are some. minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/bik/5681877404.html Blue Sebring, I'd like to see the brake handles better. In my view a bit overpriced. minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/bik/5640275185.html Aerospace, all there save the saddle, some wear, reasonable. SPD pedals. Though used, hoods look pretty good. People always tell me on Craig's List you try to bargain someone down. I don't have much experience on it but it looks like trying to get it to $60 from $80 might work or maybe it is worth that top price.
