Very nice. As you say, all original. Agree about the size. Anyone up in that part of the world? I think we will have to get used to paying that sort of money for good original Viscounts. If some misguided soul parted it out, it would easily make that, probably quite a bit more. £40 for a front & rear set of Showas? Similar or more for the Deore triple chain set and the same again for the rest of the Deore parts? Let's hope it finds a happy home, within or outside the forum.

I seem to remember Lewis spent £30 odd on maybe just 1 x Showa rack? Or was it a pair?
So, when looked at in that light, it isn't outrageous. I'd be happy at £80-£110 though.

Nice bicycle, I haven't seen this style in the States. Can others in America attest to these being sold here? You say original mudguards but are not those SKS or Esge-type mudguards? See the lines in the middle? Maybe they made them that way back then, they look somewhat modern to me. Handsome racks too, I'd say with the accessories, it is getting close to being reasonably priced if that was an issue. And steel wheels, it looks like which I don't consider a negative at all and use them for daily riding. Before I came here, I had not seen these pastel blue types of Viscounts.

The mudguards are SKS original, they are a light gold and I seem to recall they called the colour 'champaign'.
Wheels are alloy, just a trick of the light they look steel
