Is anyone chasing this? If no-one says yes (PM me if you like), I might stick a bid in to save it from a grisly fate (being sold to a non-forum member, or not sold at all!). Worth the starting price for the chainring and pedal dustcap alone. If anyone down south really fancies it, I can probably help move it from Bradford to the Midlands, and possibly London. (Melbourne could be more difficult, sorry Bendo!) Rob

Go for it robt. I've got the same one and you'll love it. That was THE model to have in the states circa 1976. No shipping, no packing fees to pile on! Go get it....good luck!

Very nice, the shorty-mudguards are nice too and not easy to find at least around here.
Sebring up for sale not far from here but still a journey to get too, I'd certainly nail that if I could.

Yes. Go for it Rob. Bradford a bit far for me and anyway I've just bought my N+1 Viscount. Of course that means N=N+1 and I still need another ... unless I've reached S.
This looks a really good example - the nearest we get in the UK to the Mojave desert-preserved bikes. Beat the seller down because it's only got one pedal cap ;-)

Yes, I have a quiet eye on it!
Didn't want to 'watch' it, or do anything else to attract attention.
It's a Pro all right, wheels apart it's all original - and have you noticed that the RD cable is attached to the FD shifter?

I've been keeping an eye on that, also (in my neck of the woods, as well). I hadn't noticed it was a left-hand drive model though. (I remember, years ago, on moving from the UK to work in Canada, that I bought a bike a day or two after arriving. On riding it away from the bike shop I nearly went over the handlebars at the first set of traffic lights because I hadn't noticed that the brakes were attached to the "wrong" levers).
I'll probably put a bid in, but won't get involved in a last minute bidding war (for the simple reason that I won't be anywhere near a computer for the closing minutes!)

3,200 viewings? Who are you all?
I'll be throwing my hat into the ring later today. I see someone has started the bidding.

It must be some weird quirk of Google search that brings so many views to this particular post. And for the record all you one-time viewers passing through, the Aerospace is worth £10-£15 at most...it just isn't very sort after. Now a Viscount Delta folder, that is gonna get us collectors excited and paying big money.

Just above the pump clamp?

Rob - are you the new owner of an Aerospace Pro?

Just above the pump clamp? Bet Rob's won it - it's definitely not me. Yes, there look to be several areas of corrosion - two small patches on the left hand side under the shifters, and the lower part of the downtube/BB doesn't look too cracking. Corrosion can be a issue with the tube walls being so thin.

Nope, not me. I went up to £50 but decided that if someone else wanted it more than that, I'd let them enjoy it. I already have enough new builds and tidy-ups to work on once I finish decorating the kitchen. Mrs T will be relieved that we don't have another detour to make on the way back home from Leeds next weekend.
The opening bidder was ahead of me all along until just before closing time, then it looks like someone else jumped in with a late winning bid. Maybe Dracco if it wasn't you, David?
Best wishes to the winner if you're one of us or a new member. Keep us posted with all your discoveries.
My view of Scott's 'object' on the frame above the lower pump peg looks like a cable stop for a front dérailleur cable housing, as there isn't the usual curved guide brazed on the top of the b/b shell. There appears to be a corresponding stop on the dérailleur seat tube clamp just below the lever arm cable clamp.

Not me unfortunately: I was the opening bidder, in for £55 but wasn't online at closing time, so someone else must have jumped in. A shame, since it's just my size.
Be interested to see if it pops up here as the subject for someone's restoration.
