There was a young cycling lady of Uttoxeter whose Viscount Sport had a stem shifter, She loved the steel crank with its cotters, And the brakes with suicide levers, But couldn’t abide the Huret derailleur

This is not far from me if anyone wants to call in for tea and crumpet while collecting? (although I do have some nice chutneys, oat biscuits and gorgonzola too, take your pick) By the way -the locals pronounce this small market town as 'Ut-cheeter'. Nice little racecourse too. (horses, not cars)
I'm now inspired for a go at limerick too...(note -town must must be said with local pronunciation)
There was a young lady from Uttoxeter Who really wasn't much, to look at her, but she was, on account of her trusty Viscount a wise young lady of Uttoxeter
apologies to Edward Lear and all poets everywhere Even the great William McGonnagle would blush at the awfulness of that ditty

There was a young girl from Devizes, Whose Viscount won several prizes. To admire the Porthole chainring on her Sport, all the boys rode along by her sideses.

There is a young chap in Devizes Who has Viscounts in multiple guises, A Grand Sport or two,to name but a few and a Delta he deeply despises! Cheers, Pete.

Pete, you're a genius, I'm flattered!
This could go down the same route as the 'Ireland's Favourite Biscuit' vote. The players are gathering on the pitch again!

A Viscount owner from Nantucket Washed his bike with a bucket. He washed off the crap, Then had a quick nap, When he dreamed he was riding in Phucket! Cheers, Pete.

Don't encourage me...
'twas an old Viscount bike in Nantucket Whose freewheel was missing a sprocket, A skip tooth for uphill And 12T for down, 'til That racing snake Whippet done took it.
P.S. Just checked Google Maps. Not many hills in Nantucket by the look of things.

In Nantucket,a girl that was busty, Had a bike that was terribly rusty. It was tattered and worn, And the saddle was torn. But most of all it was Trusty! Cheers, Pete.
PS, can I suggest a change of place? Billericay, for the Blockheads fans!

My Aerospace in Billericay. Its handling's become a bit tricky. Should I fear that the 'Death Fork' is more than old small talk, or just that the headset is sticky?
