See, this website "sometimes" scrambles links I think for some reason, spammers maybe. I was able to find the bike typing in "unisex" and "Mixte". Terrific, I've seen one Viscount Mixte on the streets ever, I was thinking of some time, I don't know when, of grabbing a Mixte because I've really never ridden one. I have ridden a woman's bike before which might be similar. See, this might be a reason to try posting the photo, I guess if the sale ends, it is deleted, like I said, I push the right mouse button, go to "view image" and then post that. Working dynamo, low price. www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/unisex-retro-road-touring-bike-with-retro-mixte-style-frame/1141332796PS, I am in a rush but websearching "men using mixtes" brings up a lot of interesting talk, most mixtes would be small for men in general, you'd have to search for a good size. Some chaps say as they get older, they can't get their leg over the top bar as well. Maybe they just redid the advertisement, that's a possibility as well. Or maybe this is a different mixte Viscount.

I bought this mixte a few years back , in reality just for the the high flange alloy Birmalux wheels to use on a project. When I got it in the house, my wife's face lit up and she fell in love with it and I couldn't really do anything but present it as a gift. Anyway, the long and the short of it is this - I took it for quite a few 'road tests' to check it was safe...at least 7 times, then a couple more times to check that those checks had worked. It was fine, but I checked it several more times over the next few months. It rides like an absolute dream. Something to do with the geometry and weighing makes it really stable and great in corners. I would happily ride it all day. I think it would pleasantly surprise most people. The diagonal top bar doesn't actually allow you to step through though - you still need to swing your leg over the back of the saddle (well, I do anyway - I tried once to step through and got a bit tangled up) I would heartily recommend a foray into mixte world- They seem to sell for a lot less than horizontal top bar ones. This below was about £40 and was in great condition. IMG_4862 by Sooper 8, on Flickr IMG_4844 by Sooper 8, on Flickr

Your wife's Mixte is very attractive alright. Thanks for sharing.

Also, pictures of my Viscount are at the CTC thread, probably in the first 100 posts, it is at "pedal room" as well and even at velo space, I put those pictures up a few years ago.
