I've had one of the Revolution mountain bikes for quite a few years. I owned up to this in the thread about what else do we ride. As stated in the video it is a very stiff frame.Mine needs the correct rear mech hanger, and a front mech hanger.I bodged the rear hanger with an old Shimano hanger but have never bothered with the front.I only used the bike for towpath riding so not over abused. There is a Revolution on evilbay at the moment for £85 bin if anyone is intrested, slightly cheaper than the Kirk road bike on there at £1500!!!!!!!!!! They are a fascinating chapter in British bike building, but their days were numbered with the onset of carbon fibre. They are a bit like Viscounts really,a brave attempt with new technology and deserved a better fate. Cheers, Pete.

The name meant nothing when you mentioned that it your 'what else do you ride' thread. Somebody I was communicating with the other day , mentioned them in passing and I had to Google it. I see some parallels with Viscount, in that they are innovative but had problems that brought them down. I quite like the look of them but read up that finding parts is impossible with some people even making their own components. The final picture on that blog where there is a whole heap of the frames ready for the scrap yard is a sad sight.

Very interesting read. In comparison, it looks like our Viscounts were really well thought out.
