I was looking for where all the recalled alu forks went and almost thought I'd stumbled on the answer However, I guess that in reality it's just a Viscount seat (for sale on Gumtree)

If that fork broke it would be very very nasty!!! Cheers, Pete.

Here's a questions: are those Viscount seats related to Trusty of England, or are they just another company who makes seats? I'm presuming that Viscount did their own seats as, I think, two of mine came with a Viscount seat (nasty beasts), but I see seats every now and again. Last in my lbs, as they pointed the seat out to me. I have a sneaky feeling, though, that there's also a company called Viscount. Didn't research, though. Any idea?

The Viscount company (Taiwanese I believe) that seems to make only saddles is and never has been connected with our Viscount. Although some Viscount frames were made in Taiwan (Tulsa G.L. for one) I'm almost 100% sure that there was never any link. Of course, some saddles fitted to our Viscounts are branded Viscount but made by Middlemore, Brooks or Isca. It's difficult to search for Viscount bikes on the internet or eBay without turning up loads of saddles!

Ah, I thought so. Thank you, John. I really like the Brooks-lookalike Viscount. Nice indeed. I had two bikes with a Viscount-braned saddle, but they were basically plastic with a faux leather cover and VERY uncomfortable.
