I am having a tattoo on my right wrist later this week...it will say "don't buy any more 24" frame bikes, they are too big, you fool!"
I am hoping that when I reach to click the button on eBay, that I might pause for a moment or two to reflect on my dumb idea that I can make a 24" frame fit me. This is my third 'mistake'.
I was so blinded by this Grand Sport that I convinced myself if would be different this time, and this would be a small 24" as opposed to a large 24"
I think these 1970's inches were bigger than the modern ones?
The bike can only have done a couple of hundred miles at most in the dry weather. It is as close to original/new that I have actually seen with my eyes.Check out the original bar tape!
But, it's gotta go.
Open to Viscount lovers everywhere, but then will have to go to the big cattle market that is eBay, where bounty hunters might strip it just for the shimano 600 parts and high flange alloy rimmed wheels...then those London fixie boys will start on the frame...
Please someone, buy this before it falls into the wrong hands.
Can be collected from DFR3 or delivered if you pay petrol - I'd post but it's a right game and having done it before I am not keen.
Looking for a very reasonable £80 if you are a member here and want it for yourself, or want it for a friend who will keep it in their house under a merino wool blanket.
You will certainly not be disappointed.
Bike is at Sprockits at the moment if that makes it easier to collect?
