I just wanted to say, I love the logo design on this (which is on eBay UK still ,but still over priced) and the fact it says 'Trusty-Viscount' With it's name harking back to the luxury train carriage, and the logo looking slightly like a London Underground fire hydrant break glass cover panel - I'm continually talking myself out of buying it.

Listing ended a few hours ago, 8 watchers but don't know if was actually sold. Hadn't noticed that it's been re listed yet.

Totally agree with you though, it looks like a really interesting and useful bike. Wish I'd bought it now :-(

Yes. I mailed him. I was desperately hoping it had sold , so that I could forget it and move on with my life. It haunts me in my sleep, I daydream about and and fantasise what it would be like if it were 23" frame.
He mailed back his mobile phone number. I have no shed space at present and really can't get up to York in next few months. I probably don't even need it. But if it were 23" I might make space for it and go for a day trip to York

Hmmm, what a shame it's not 23.

Whippet,
21-inch Viscount Pullman in York didn't sell on eBay, so seller has now put it up for sale on Gumtree!
Hope he doesn't do what the seller from Runcorn did last November with the Viscount President - couldn't sell it for £80, dropped the price to £75, couldn't sell it for that, so took it apart and tried to sell the parts. Frame didn't sell at £30. Stopped watching the bits after that.

The Pullman's on eBay once more. Come on, northern dwellers, £55 hardly covers the wheels, bars and brake levers.

Thing is Cusqueno, it won't keep up with Whippet's wheels at DFR2!

I so love the headlamp. I vote that if it's unsold just before DFR2 we have a quick whip round, all put in a bit, get it to the rally, and then figure out what to do with it!
(Late night TTs around the campsite perhaps? If the headlight works that is)

This also has a 'rolling' post on Gumtree btw although currently £65 on there! Thought it worth a mention as it may lead you back to it if it drops off of Ebay again.
There's a nice looking Tulsa on there as well but in London at London prices.
It's really weird how different models seem to come up in phases isn't it? This is the 3rd Tulsa in a couple of months (never saw one before). Previously it was a run of Tony Doyles/Team Livery, then the folders, then Metros, and a few Internationals for a bit too. Is Viscount fashion that fickle?

Previously it was a run of Tony Doyles/Team Livery, then the folders, then Metros, and a few Internationals for a bit too. Is Viscount fashion that fickle? I had noticed that too. Ditto with the Tulsa; Even a Google image search throws up next to nothing and no quality pictures. now we're 'awash' with them. I suppose a mathematician would say that is the natural random scatter of objects? ie it doesn't appear as random as you might expect? I however believe in the fortuitous universe of Bike Gods. Every single Viscount I wanted in the last few years has come up pretty much just by my willing them into existence. I wanted a Deore 18AX and got one, then a second all original , hardly ridden one. I got a very local pick up Grand Prix, a local Indy 500 in the colour I wanted and the list goes on. Then, as soon as I got them I didn't see any more...(maybe I stopped looking you may think- but I still look for Viscount and would see them) My regret is that I passed over a 600ax as I was out of cash that week. I don't see those come up too often if at all now.
