What do we know about Viscount and track racing. I see that Tony Doyle won the world track championship in 1980, he was signed to KP Viscount then so does this mean he was on a Viscount?
Had fun at the Olympic velodrome today and am thinking of doing a bit of track racing. Even better if I can do so on a Viscount. I'm presuming that a standard aerospace wouldn't really suitable. Track bikes tend to have very short wheel base, higher bottom bracket, single fixie and no brakes.

Another "Holy Grail"! Well done Kev,those bikes must be the rarest of Viscounts. Can I have a jersey without the "S" word on it please? Cheers, Pete.

Excellent work! And a beautiful bike.
Someone has posted a photo of the same frame (or at least paintwork - which I love), maybe as a Lambert though??
I'm thinking Cusqueno?

Bloody hell! Outstanding detective work there. I love finding out about new Viscount stuff to add to my fantasy bike shed. It's even better that it will be incredibly rare, if it even still exists - past experience has taught me that I really need six to eight months to come up with a convincing explanation for Mrs Goldie's benefit if I'm planning on a new bike purchase...
The jersey is ace too. Does anyone recognise the manufacturer? It looks like "SOSS".
