People might welcome the return of this very useful site for obscure / old bike parts. From an e-mail I was sent: Here's what's new about Loose Screws. 1. There is no longer a minimum order amount. We got a bit more automated and its easier for us to process orders now. Buy that small part you need and enjoy! 2. Shipping has been simplified. A low rate for U.S. orders up to $74.99. Hit $75 and shipping is free! International shipping has been changed to serve a standard option automatically instead of having to call in or do a separate email. All international orders will go USPS priority, and occasionally DHL. It gives much more shipping protection than International first class. 3. The sorting of the products has been geared towards more common/popular products. This helps in search mode as well. 4. We now have a blog, our Loose Screws Helpful Blog takes all of the experience we have built up over the years, and puts it out there, for all to see. See www.loosescrews.com/blog

I've just checked shipping costs and the international ones are based on the value of an order, rather than the actual cost of shipping. Hence, for orders up to $75, international shipping (including Canada) is $30 and for orders over $75 shipping is $35. To me this suggests that the site is not now very interested in international business for small orders.
