Truly a mixed heritage bike.... USA made Trek 660 frame with DB True Temper tubing, Malliard hubs and Rigida rims, Campy shifters , BB and front derailleur, Shimano Crane (black) RD, Superbe Cranks, Pro Ace pedals, Dia Compe levers and Tektro dual pivot brakes. Had fun assembling this from parts and pieces I had from other projects. Finished this afternoon. Trek 1
Drive Train
As you can see, cycling season is months away here in the "great white north"

That is looking good! I love the second photo, something about the snow really creates a great photograph.
I see from your other Flickr pics you have a Falcon, is it the Black Diamond? Nice looking bike too.

After Researching my frame... a 1989 Trek 660, I discovered that it was the last year that Trek made a steel road frame.... although they continued to produce steel touring frames. The frame is DB True Temper "Team" Cro-Moly, and is described as a Criterium bike. I decided to re-build it up as a KOF (Keeper of the Flame) "pre-index" bike. #1

I'm building up the wheels for my Aerospace Pro, so I'll soon be working on getting it ready.
