A l-a-r-g-e Raleigh with a must-have accessory for commuting. The brakes look a bit feeble though.

Could do with it on my commute - would have to adjust the angle of the weapon though . . .!!!!

They didn't worry about brakes so much when charging with fixed bayonettes! "They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring, they don't like it up em!" Cheers, Pete.

Cusqueno - this reminds me. I have inadvertently given you spurious information at the DFR2. This post has jogged my memory.
I had picked up somewhere, and truly believed, that in ww2 films with scenes set on airfields, where two airmen are often seen cycling very slowly on one another's back wheel, that they were rehearsing dog fight manoeuvres and evasion.
I told you this and your reaction made me doubt myself and I decided I should check this fact. I could find nothing at all on Google.
I asked my dad, who flew in the war and he just laughed and said "no, not at all".
I don't know where I picked up this erroneous fact, but it seemed plausible to me. Glad I could clear it up though.

They were actually practicing going back to base from the local pub in the blackout! Cheers, Pete
