I bought this frameset recently for my brother in law who's going through some tough times at the moment. Used to ride and then his custom 531 steel roadie got mangled so he's been without it for a few years. I've got all the kit from it except the wheels, mostly Superbe Pro. So this one should end up being a rather nice bike, although after buying the frame I'm wanting to keep costs down, so the wheels will only be Ukai rims on 105 hubs. Can't afford to do C-Record or anything that fancy, even though the frame deserves the best. I got the Bianchi specifically because I know he dreamed of owning one when he raced as a kid. I'll keep yez all posted on how it progresses. More pics on the blog. VA Pro in the BG for scale. I'm not a big one for Italian bikes but I must say that Bianchi colour is hard to top. And the entire frame is chrome underneath... b

Mmmm nice frame, not sure about the colour, my colour, vision leaves a lot to be desired! I have to admit to a not so secret lust for Italian frames and parts.Like their cars and aircraft, they just look right.

Final iteration. Smaller front ring (47t) and wider range freewheel (28) than before. And much lovelier Veloflex tyres, which, I must say, stood up to 60km of punishing back roads on the way to deliver the bike last Sunday. More pics on me blog. OP delivers! b
