I found this listed as 'Bike' on ebay. An old Trusty kids bke. pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=261571289164 It's been relisted a few times now so it seem's nobody wants it which is sad. Anyone fancy saving it at a fiver? There was another very similar in 'gold' which may still be about but I think it was a bit more and had a little less character. Cath thinks this is the same as her first bike 'Rusty' but still won't let me buy it!!

Unfortunately I could not justify to the domestic authority the space it would take up. Nevertheless, it has some interesting features - such as what appears to be a cable-operated rod stirrup brake on the rear wheel and the bottom bracket shell mounted on top of the down tube, which becomes the front of the chain stays, and of course the stem/forks arrangement (a bit of a Trusty trademark on their various kids' bikes). And is it fillet brazed? If so, it might explain why Trusty was selected to make the lambert and Viscount fillet brazed frames, if they had existing expertise in the technique. I can't see any lugs and I think welding would be unlikely at that time. Well worth a fiver.
