Purchased this yesterday for $150 US: ViscountIt came with the Yamaha "Death Fork" replacement kit ForkThe issues I've noted so far: Rear Rim is a Weinmann, Front a Nisi. Pedal dust caps are missing. Saddle seems to have a sag. Brake hood half covers need to be replaced. Front Hub Bearings are rough. Top tube decal needs to be replaced. Spokes are rusty. Positives: 3rd generation fork, Drilled Lambert brake levers, everything else seem to be original and most other issues are minor.... about what I would expect from an older bike And for fun, my long gone Lambert, circa 1974: Lambert

Nice Viscount. Looks very original but the seat would be unsafe surely with that length of seat post protruding?
Love the Lambert. Very new looking. Did it have a Crane RD? and was the FD the Lambert 'matchbox' type? I have a triple chainset like your Lambert had on one of my Lamberts but haven't been able to get the matchbox shifter to work over all three rings.

Hey Tom, you must be one tall dude! Very nice bikes both of them. The Viscount is quite a find and easily worth the $150. Well done! b

Sorry.... I just stuck the seat post in an inch or so.... well above the MIN mark. I think the Lambert FD was what I would call a pushrod type. I had lots of problems with the bike, but I don't recall any issues w/ the FD. RD was a Crane GS.... I think I had the shop replace the stock RD.
The seat itself has a serious sag issue.... likely won't be using it.
The Viscount was sold as a 24", but that is from the BB to the center of the top tube..... I would call it a 24.5" or 25"
I'm about 6'2" and generally like a 24.5 0r 25" frame

Lovely bikes, particularly the Lambert. So nice to see an original photo.
Oh and welcome, Tom.
