There,s a tidy looking 21" ladies President currently on ebay. 1 bid at 99p and 3 odd days to go. Could be of interest to other halves. Make a good pub bike, unlikely to be stolen! Cheers, Pete.

I think I've posted this opinion before, but I would quite happily ride a mixte. I have ridden my wife's Sebring and find it very stable and a very nice ride. With your eyes closed, you would instantly know it wasn't a gents bike, it feels like a lower centre of gravity (? maybe someone who understands the simple geometry of bikes will chip in?). I guess they would load up well with racks etc and be a decent touring bike. This President would be a great shopping/pub bike.

Older gents on the continent ride ladies bikes all the time. Also, much less risky to mount after your 7th pint.

I never try to mount anything after 7 pints! Cheers, Pete.

There's a great looking Metro 5 as well. 22.5" is says, though not sure if that will be right.
