This poll is carrying on from a question that Triitout posted in another section about the Aerospace GP in mint condition in Mojave.
And if you go and check out 'photographs of your bike section' you will see some photo's of the bike in question.
So, here's the poll inspired by the question...
The question in no way takes into account the death fork 'risk' .

Ride it on sunny days only. Ideally with other poor cyclists who are stuck in ugly carbon things.

I'd take it out on a nice DRY Sunday and pretend it's my late midlife crisis bike. It's a lot cheaper than my midlife dream crisis car, a '67 Mercury Cougar

I'd with Whippet on that. Lucky Triitout, you'll be the one who's going to ride it. I want pictures, please, of you on the bike.

It's on its way to showroom condition. I salvaged the 1/2 brake hoods (which were pretty dried up/crumbly) by painting on clear silicone sealer. Since my CTC post, I've gotten all of the sand out of the Shimano Titlist rear derailluer and its now looking shiny new like the pics. One step at a time. Work keeps me busy and I'm savoring "the process" part by part when I can. No Hurray! I'll need new tires, tubes and bar tape and will stick with the black/tan Panaracers that have been mentioned on other posts and black cloth tape. Keeping this one straight (no Kiwi treatment!).

Great tip for rejuvenating the half hoods, I can't wait to try it on mine. Is it silicon sealant that you use? I can't quite imagine 'painting' that on. I have been thinking for some time about moulding (molding) some replica half hoods using silicon rubber. Perhaps SugruThat might work out quite expensive, but if they can't be had otherwise, neither for love nor money ...

Yup clear silicon sealant. Its just a small tube just like you'd use caulking around the bathroom or kitchen. You can "paint it on" with a small disposable brush and it does fill in the cracks nicely and gives it a protective coat. We'll keep our fingers crossed on its durability.

Another thumbs up from me for Sugru.
I love it. I use it on all manner of things.
I even got into the Sugru 'hall of fame' on their web site with a hack to make a wedding ring smaller.
Not sure I'd think of using it on brake hoods though.

The "mojave sand effect" is virtually gone now. It fooled me into believing that there were spider crack lines in the paint by the chain stays and seat stays. It was actually the fine dust infiltrating any slight ripple in the paint. Even the cables that I thought were hopelessly yellowed from age are now bright white like new again. Now it really looks like the picture.
I was paranoid about using any harsh cleaners so I tried a product called what-EVER! which is made strictly with plant based sterols, no chemicals. Pretty amazing and very kind stuff. Don't know if you can get it in the UK yet but it's good. Made by a co. called Better Life.
Looking to take it out this weekend if the weather holds up……and ride it very carefully with all the original parts including the tubes and tires (which are surprisingly holding the air well), crappy saddle, bar tape and narrow handlebars.
The bike has a very unusual serial #: 007000 3K Even Busaste (who is well) had never seen one like that. Anyone have any ideas? Any former employees seen one like this?

Not sure I'd think of using it on brake hoods though. To make a wedding ring smaller? Just mould it on to the inside? I lost my ring for a few days, but it turned up when I was at the check-out of a supermarket - it had obviously pulled off my finger as I stuffed a load of plastic bags together for re-use. I am claiming that I am slimmer than when we married (or at least, my finger is). There is an engraving on the inside of the ring that I wouldn't want to cover up. Off-topic I know, but surely of general interest?
