Middlemore saddles - often used on Viscount bikes, including (I believe) re-branded as Viscount. A new blog here: Middlemore's saddles &c*** And now with pictures of Viscount-branded Middlemore saddles ***

I've just made an offer on one of them available on eBay. I need a saddle anyway for the rally bike and I just can't afford to pay for a new Brooks saddle.

Interesting find, thanks Cusqueno. I bought a Lamplugh saddle for my niece's bike. Had never heard of them before. From a quick look at the site it looks like Middlemores and Lamplugh either merged or one bought out the other at some stage. Must read it more closely. b

I got the saddle, which is in quite okay nick but it needs some work done, so I'll have to ride a different saddle on the day. I've learned the hard way that planting your arse on a 'well used' leather saddle will end in tears.
