That is interesting. I only have one Lambert frame and it is lugged. I have seen a couple others and I think they were lugged as well. I really like the clean look of the the fillet brazed frame.

I’ve seen several lugless Lambert frames listed on US eBay over the past few years. Except for the decals and the lack of the integral derailleur hanger they seem to fit the Viscount mold. Perhaps a transitional model? The vast array of models continue to amaze me. Somewhat like Schwinn except their models accumulated over a wider timespan, a century plus. Best, John “wheelson”

My other Lambert is lugless and without an RD hanger. No trace of a down tube decal so I don't know what model it is: flic.kr/s/aHsjoAZGLW

I also came across this (I have more photos). Not having a derailleur hanger was common (even on good bikes) in the early 70s. The Simplex Prestige Derailleur looks early 1970s. I have one like it for my (back burner) Peugeot U08 project.
