This looks like a nice bike. Interested to see where the bidding goes.

My first Viscount, bought from new, was an Aerospace 400. The frame was the same, with the engraved seat stays, but is an all-over powder blue. The forks were nicer (to my way of thinking), with sloping shoulders and no lugs. It had a Shimano 600 RD and Dura Ace FD. Weinmann brake levers and sidepull brakes. Unfortunately it cracked across the bottom bracket shell and all I have left are the forks, which I transplanted to a 400 frame like this one, bought for £40 a few years ago. And all the other bits, somewhere - nothing is ever wasted! Incidentally, the original 600 RD exploded and I replaced it with a modern Tiagra.

This bike is still at the opening bid of £92 with only a couple of hours left if anyone fancies a bargain.

End of the auction came and went without a bidder, so an even better chance of a bargain now! (he relisted with a 'make an offer' option.)

And starting price down to £55. A real bargain, shame I have no room.

A friend of mine ended up getting this for £75. Good price I’d say. I’ve invited him onto here.

Quite a bargain at that price.
I hope he joins us on here and posts some pictures.
I have an Aerospace 400 myself - 1978, fillet-brazed, was 10-speed (now 5-speed), and had stem-mounted shifters until I mounted them on the down tube to standardise with my other Viscounts.
It has no material specification sticker, so I don't think it's 1027 tubing.
