Here are the photos from the ad, in case the ad disappears:
Also, can anyone explain the "Viking" decal on the blue bike?

My guess for the Viking decal is that there was some overlap with the early lugged frames. Viking is listed alongside Lambert at the bottom of the advertisement featuring that other Lambert “model”. Best, John “wheelson”

The short answer is Lambert took over Viking bicycles at one point in the '70's. Bob Thom was deeply tied in to Viking and then worked for Lambert. He' the gent who passed on a stash of original Viscount decals to a former Wolverhampton Wheelers racer (the team Thom managed in the 1950's), Alan H. The decals I sent to you and John are from that stash I acquired from Alan H so you guys have a Viking connection! Looks like the dad was quite an aficionado of the Lambert brand. I guess we all need to figure out a plan for a better fate for our bikes so they are not sold in a fire sale on Craig's list. Cheers, Michael

Thanks, John. What advertisement do you mean? Brian Brian, The ad with the gold Lambert and the rather attractive young lady. I think there’s a photo somewhere here on the list. Best, J “wheelson”

Unfortunately the resolution of the photo is poor and the pdf is no better. But the 'alpine' rear derailleur, which looks like an original Lambert one, has tied itself into a bit of a knot. Probably because the chain is on the smallest ring and the smallest cog. Not a good configuration for photos!
