Nice one but, as you say, too tall. I see a lot of nice bikes in extra large sizes. I wonder if they were bought too big and then rarely used.

Seems 50's and 60' bikes the trend was big frames with just a fistful of seat post showing. Looking at old Tour de France clips from that era bear that out. My feeling is many are getting fit on smaller frames with aggressive drops to the bars which are fine if you are a young racer but not so fine for our age group.

I have communicated with the owner - He is 6'1", but he is measuring the frame at 23". I feel it might be bigger looking at the head tube?
I have some close up photos if anyone wants to check it out. It's not quite as nice as the original picture shows, but not too shabby either. Long arm RD is Tourney.
