seen locally - how much would you guys reckon seems straight and has the original b/b chain set and seat post saddle (red) derailleurs and shifters but no brakes handlebars wheels etc. I would estimate about 82/83 vintage. rear dropout would take a 6/7 speed. few age related scratches but nothing desperate. any idea what to pay ? with all the stuff here it was maybe a wee bit heavier than I expected. photos.app.goo.gl/2HTZV1BdBDtVasbh6

If you want a lightweight classic, wait for an Aerospace. I wouldn't spend more than £20 on that in the picture . You might end up spending £50 getting wheels and other parts. But you could get a really decent (whole) bike for £60. Thats just my instant reaction - but if you are liking the look of it, go for it.

That makes me feel my £20 estimate was generous. If you have all the parts waiting and are willing to invest £100 in a re-sray, then find the decals etc, then it might be worth it to someone with a desire to do it. You can get an Aerospace , ready to ride away, close to original for less than 3 figures. I'd personally do that.

According to the map in the ad it's at Woodchurch. That's in the Wirral and it's the M53 motorway. I spent the best part of three happy years working on the construction of that motorway. Cheers, Pete.
