Looks good, although it appears to have the Death Fork still. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not, obviously it’s lasted this long.

Interesting. Odd looking font the decals? Maybe aftermarket set?. Unless someone has seen them before? I’ve seen the *silver foil head badge with no colours on earlier models so maybe the main decals were before the ‘nine lying down’ font was designed? *The guy I spoke to that got ‘swag’ from a Viking/Viscount rep in the mid 1970’s had some of those plain foil head badge decals for sale. Having said that the seller does say the previous owner refurbished it so the main decals could be aftermarket.

I have the “no color” head and seat mast decals on my brushed chrome “pseudo Supa”, with normal Aerospace decals on down tube. However, my silver/black Aerospace’s colored decals are so faded that they almost look colorless. So it’s hard to know what belongs especially with some photos. I’d like to find the “no color” head tube decals, alas no luck so far. Best, John “wheelson”

Thanks, Franco. His eBay listing says he doesn't ship internationally, but I sent him a note through eBay with a photo of the decal and asked if there was a way I might purchase some. I may need some help with this one if he does indeed have them. No one else anywhere seems to. Best, John "wheelson"

Thanks, Jem and Franco. I got a reply from the seller who says that he doesn't have any of the desired decals, that he had a couple but sold them. If anyone has a source for this one, please let me know. I've tried at least one here in the USA, doesn't appear interested in one-offs, I guess. Best, John "wheelson"

I think it is time to learn how to make some of this stuff - decals, pedals caps, etc. My wife's business partner is a graphics designer and I will try to get some advice from her about preparing the artwork and producing items.

Brian, That sounds interesting, especially with a lot of graphics and 3d printing geared to small enterprise. I don't blame a small business for not wanting to tackle a one-off that might be a money loser, though.
For what it's worth, I submitted the "colorless" Vistount head badge/seat mast decal to VeloCals as a new product request, although it really isn't. They currently produce the standard Viscount decal with the red and blue subpanels, with white and black on a silver/chrome background. The only difference in the "colorless" is the elimination of the red and blue and leave the silver/chrome exposed. I tried to make that clear in my request, we'll see what happens. If that works, I'll try the Lambert down tube decal that reads GRAND PRIX PROFESSIONAL, a deviation only in slight wording from their current product. The Ian Steel, Bob Thom, and Reg Harris stickers are going to be a much tougher find, though. Best, John "wheelson"

I received some useful information. My graphics "consultant" thinks the font for many of the Viscount decals is Eras Ultra Bold. It was a new font in the 70's! Here is a sample of Eras Bold from my computer. I do not have the ultra weight, well personally yes, fontwise no. This does look like the font but the Viscount decals are kerned closer together. I also believe the Viscount logo is made out of this font. Perhaps this a start.
Edit: Just found out this typeface was developed in 1976 so it is not a perfect match.
