He says Reynolds 531 tubing, is that right? Edit: I think I can just make out a 531 decal on the forks I might be a bit rash in stating this categorically, but Viscount never used Reynolds tubing. Aerospace bikes used Chrome- Molybdenum steel from a company called Phoenix. This is similar, I believe to Reynolds 501, but isn't Phoenix 101, which you see very occasionally as a label on some bikes (not Viscount). About 1981 the top of the top range Viscount bike, with a full Dura Ace group set, was advertised as being available in Columbus tubing as an alternative to Aerospace tubing. But I've never heard of a 531 Viscount. That's not to say that the forks, if not original, might be 531 steel. But the label could have been added to gas pipe. It has been known.
