As I continue to use my rebuilt Aerospace GP I find myself reflecting back to when I owned my original Viscounts in the 70s and 80s. On one occasion, I rode my bike to the bike store in Pensacola, FL to get some tires and tubes. The owner of the shop gave me the good news that Yamaha was replacing my front fork with a Tange at no charge. During our discussion he mentioned that his contact at Yamaha had indicated that Yamaha felt that a rider weight limit of 215 lbs. was recommended for Viscounts and Lamberts. The weight limit didn't apply to me then or now, but I have not heard or read about that limit since then. Has anyone else heard about this?
