What a great bike! If you needed something for work, recreation, sport or whatever, I would suggest you are much better off getting this instead of a new bike. That way, if you 'go off' it and give up, it's not such a big deal and you don't have those feelings of guilt around it. I don't think his 6 foot guide is helpful to sell it though , if it's 23" as it looks to be it can fit us short guys at 5.8" no problem...raise the seat 6 foot plus. Just doubled your market reach there !
I see a large number of things on these auction and classified sites such as golf clubs, tropical fish tanks, racing bikes with whistles and bells, and expensive ham radios where people want to get into a hobby , but splash out a bit too much on all the gear before they really put their toe in the water.

That looks like a good deal for someone local. Luckily I've already got the same one. You are right about the sizing. I shrunk from 5'11" to 5'10" and that size fits me perfectly with the classic "fistful" of seat post showing.
