If the Suntour remover is the FR-2, then it will not work on the Atom freewheel because the tabs will not fit into the notches, more than 1mm too wide. Also the rim on the Atom sticks up and is thin, making it likely the tool will slip off and ruin the freewheel. I will post pictures here as soon as I put is back together. It is soaking right now.

I came across this excellent video on removing a damaged Regina freewheel. I thought it worth passing on.

That’s exactly what I did Jim, minus the vice, I managed to get the body off with the stilsons/pipe wrench. Because the only place to grip is where the pawls go you can’t reuse the body, although I’m not sure if much damage was done to be honest. I saved the whole thing as the teeth were in good condition.
