There's a reasonable looking lug framed Viscount for sale in Glasgow.£65 BIN. 6 days to go.Usual not too informative photos, but, compared with some of the rather unrealistic prices being asked,it would seem good value. Gold coloured for that "cusqueno" look! Cheers, Pete.

Difficult to tell from the photos, but,it does look good value compared with some on the market at the moment. Cheers, Pete.

Saw this frame and quite liked it. And fair priced, too.

If it were nearer, I would be tempted- I would have to create some shed space if I wanted it that badly though.

I can tell you what I want badly: A long cage Titlist or Crane derailleur. And the Titlist front mech, of course. Got a curiosity for my rally bike, and there are some Dura Ace cable clips, but I'm not willing to pay 18.50 for those, plus you'd need to buy the bolts extra.

If you're prepared to fit it on the day,I've got a gash rear mech in my "come in handy "box that you're welcome to. If not ,could perhaps post it to you in exchange for the postage in beer on the great day!!! Cheers, Pete.

A Titlist or Crane long cage? *eyes are popping out* Fit on the day is a bit tricky as I'm riding the bike to Euston, then from the station to the event, but I'm certainly happy to pay you a beer or two on that day. :-)

It's a Titlist long cage, surplus to requirements, you're more than welcome to it. PM you're address and I'll get it in the post in the next few days. Can't help with the front mech I'm afraid. Cheers, Pete.

Pete: Really? A GS? Can't believe it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't use a short cage on the new freewheel I've ordered as it has 34 teeth on the largest sprocket. And I really love the Titlist's design. All the GS's designs, really. And the name's just too funny. PM to follow.
John: you'd said you have one, and I'm more than happy to put it on the rally bike to match the RD. Trust me, you'll be pleased with that bike. :-) I can pick it up in person, though. Let me know when you're free and I'll combine a ride with a cuppa at yours, and I can then admire your newest additions, too. How about that?

It's started to rain here and I was distracted all day, searching for parts and other random bits for the rally bike and the one I'll do up for my friend.

Turns out Pete had a good training and mistook the Tourney GS for the Titlist. Could have been me. So. I'm hunting for the Titlist GS. There's one on eBay, but those delivery charges just are the same as the item itself and on top of them. Ridiculous. Still very tempting since I'm so in love with that little bugger.

Gold Viscount in Glasgow?
Either change the saddle, or use it as a (motorcycle-style) cafe racer!!!
My Sport (as at Original DFR) has a Brooks Vitesse 200, vinyl covered saddle, and they're about as comfortable as sitting on a round section stairs bannister rail!
You've been warned.
