That’s an amazing find and you would think a collector would snap it up.

Wow...I'd buy that if it was in the UK. That really is time capsule quality. Beautiful. I'd have to get that rear brake cable up and over the bars though...

That's in beautiful condition and probably worth the asking price. It may be as delivered from the shop, but I don't think Lambert fitted suicide brake levers in the factory. I could easily be wrong, but I've never seen them.

I purchased this bike, it arrived yesterday...It is truly in magnificent condition, the owner took very good care of it as he also does with his auto collection
The history of the bike;
He purchased it new, from a bike shop in 1974...he says that the bicycle is identical to when he bought it, including the suicide brakes...it has the Grand Prix 15-Speed stickers but it is actually a 10-speed...the only markings that are missing are the crank caps, other than that it has everything...does not have a suede seat...
I'm really happy with this, it is almost identical to the one I had in high school...it is so clean that I can't stop looking at it.
BTW, the price included shipping...which was about $250

That is such a good price in my opinion, you did well.

Well done Rockpile! It's great that such a well maintained bike has gone to someone who appreciates it and will keep it in fine shape just like the original owner.

They didn't have caps. There were some nice bolts with an 'L' on, or just chromed ones. At some point the thread used was changed and not all Lambert bolts fit all Lambert BBs.
