Not sure of it's origins but I'm quite liking those red mudguards. That's what I'm planning for my blue Viscount "magical mystery tour" machine. I have a set of stained white Bluemels that may get a coat of red spray that's made for plastic. Anyone ever try this? Best, John "wheelson"

Those Bluemels are great looking mudguards, but are so expensive to buy new/NOS , that I often see a beaten up old bike (with the mudguards on) , go for less money on ebay than the mudguards alone.
