Here's a 600ax that looks original, if in need of a service. It looks as though all of the original bits are there, including the plastic cover on the headset, but not the aero water bottle. Can't see if the little soft plastic aero plugs on the prake calipers are there, but is that an aero pump? Did this really roll of the Viscount production line at Potters Bar and stay there? Might have an interesting story, although the seller doesn't seem to know much about it. Must be worth an offer? It's up for auction with a starting price of £250. A bit optimistic one feels, but who knows?

Looks like a small frame, possibly 21”

I'd say 21" too Kev.
In real terms this is the most modern iteration of a Viscount ever made, and therefore historic in some sense.
I don't like the look of the rust around the head (is it rust?) and therefore I wouldn't really go much above £100-£120 (But I am not in the running anyway)
If I saw a 23" in better condition, I wouldn't rule it out.

Has the engraved fork crown, which is not often seen, but I wouldn't pay the seller's asking price.

Relisted at £15 less. Think the seller will need to make a bit more of an effort to get interest going.

You'd think at £230 he'd have made an effort and put the chain on. Who knows if the RD is seized/spring gone etc? I know it's not a major thing but for £230 i'd want to know
That's got to be near £160-180 to get any kind of interest in my opinion

Made contact with the seller - he hasn't ridden the bike, so if anyone is interested in this, you really need to do yours checks before buying
