really like this bike. Lightweight with 271/4 rims with shrader tubes. Stumbled on this at the local goodwill for 24.99.

Has both dust caps on the pedals! I also have the original seat getting in some work on my Gitane TDF. I’ve enjoyed reading about the history of viscount/ lambert bikes. I’m from east of Cleveland. Pic from a chilly shakedown ride

Great score! Another thrift shop gem. Amazing to find one with the pedal dust caps. Looks like it cleaned up real nicely. Do you plan on heavy riding on the aluminum fork? I'm always curious if folks are still riding full out on the original forks or do you plan to get a replacement steel fork? I purchased my first Viscount in neighboring Buffalo back in 1976. Short seasons up north!
Enjoy, Michael

Yes Micheal I’m going to ride the original fork. A pic of my other vintage bikes which at any given time a failure could happen. I’m old and ride 100 miles a month at best so it won’t be ridden hard or that often. Bike sure does ride great though. Cheers, Kevin

What a superb find! Congratulations on that. I think you'll enjoy that ride.
Love the last picture too...who wouldn't want to hang out with you in that place!? ps what are the 4 items on the left of the shot on stands?

Nice little Viscount! Nice to see that I am not the only one addicted to vintage bikes.
Cheers Jim

Jem. Those would be four surround sound speakers. At the time the pic was taken I was making sure they still worked b4 passing them along. How about the Vetta trainer holding the bike on the cabinet. Those make great work stands.
