One of our contributors, Tom Brown of Wethersfield, CT, USA has a long running podcast called Bike Karma. Some may have heard his podcast a few years back on Viscount and the "Death Fork". His latest episode #34 features a great interview with Mike Wolf of "American Pickers" fame. It's a long running show on the History Channel. If you love bikes, and American Pickers, you'll want to listen to the episode in full. If you love Viscounts, you'll want to hear Mike's amazing take on where they stand in cycling history and collectability and how he's feels about them. The whole episode is a must listen, but if you must, scroll down to just past the 47 minute mark. Coming from a mainstream guy like Mike with great knowledge on all things bicycle, this was music to my ears and vindicates all those who still collect and ride them. It certainly put a smile on my face bikekarma.podbean.com/?fbclid=IwAR3nux12QxBwpgeK_a68MH42BePwwzejlOTAfW1HCSogDOlEQ4g6d7NcvHM

Hi. Thanks a lot for sharing this around. The Bike Karma Bicycle Podcast is an effort to bring bicycle loving people from all kinds of different camps together to share stories and make connections. My first discovery of a Viscount Aerospace was a magical experience, and relived in an early episode of the show (look for the "Deathfork" Episode. Since then I have acquired five of these bikes and I don't even know how they all got into my shed? But the "Deathfork Riders" community has been been an awesome group to become a small part of. Yes Mike does talk fondly a bit about the Viscount and it's beauty in the interview. Which can't hurt its reputation and perhaps its collectability. So please check out the episodes and then consider becoming a part of a future story about why we love these bikes... I record over the phone and it is not live, so no pressure to get it in one. Even patching together a series of stories, and anecdotes would be nice to do for this bike that has inspired so much love. Take Care, Tom The Bike Karma Bicycle Stories Podcast, anywhere you listen bikekarmaguy@gmail.com direct link to the show.

Tom, how about a short review on which model Viscounts have made their way to your shed? I'm sure there's a story there as well. We love photo's!
