I was aware of this picture before, but looking at it again I noticed that the manufacturer is given as the 'Trend Manufacturing Co'. Where did that come from? Is it just a simple misprint (repeated) for Trusty or was there really a Trend Mfctg Co in the chequered history of Viscount? |

My guess is that the publisher is simply making an error. I used to have some involvement with public relations; I soon discovered that journalists published many errors, even when supplied with printed press releases. I now take everything published with a grain of salt. I do have some trust (but not complete trust)in Scientific journal articles.
