I did not know that Viscount made a bike named Alamo; seems an odd (but nice)name for an English bike. I wonder if they named it after the tree (Alamo = Poplar) or the battle in Texas. Several of my ancestors fought in the Texas Revolution of 1835-36. The Texas side of my family were very proud of the Alamo tradition. They also liked Poplar trees.
