I think it was on Gumtree beforehand: Viscount 600AX Jem, you said it's AX when it's not really AX, right? Price is a tad too steep, methinks. Another bike that'll be sitting on eBay for ages, unsold. And has anyone seen this single speed? |

I hadn't seen the black singlespeed but I did find this abomination. Doesn't look there is a reserve on the 600 so it may go for a fair price. |

It's gotta be less than £170 for it to be worth it though? Photo's don't really show it off too well do they? But looks pretty, pretty good to me. Is it my screen or is it a light pink?....it's got your name written all over it Stella. |

No, I'm pretty sure it's antique rose or something similar. It's getting quite a few bids now.
Did you notice that most new Viscounts have at least 1 bidder each? I think we're being watched; the black SS didn't have any bids until I posted the link. We've created a monster! :-)

It looks like a decent bike. My guess is someone bought it for its parts and it'll sadly be stripped, then probably appear again as fixie. On the contrary: has anyone seen that poor Tulsa which is a rustbucket www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Viscount-Tulsa-Racer-/121322422344?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item1c3f614048? Has already two bids. I'm puzzled. You cannot use any of the parts, well, apart from the brakes and levers. It would need a complete overhaul, from paint job to re-building. I fear it'll probably end up becoming another no-name fixie. |
