Lusted after Viscounts since I first saw them in Bicycling magazine 'way back in the mid seventies. I finally just snagged my first one, I don't know the model. The mens frame is fillet brazed with the red & white paint scheme (not very clean lines!), and it has the Shimano 600 rear derailleur and Titelist front derailleur, Lambert circle big sprocket, original Lambert high flange front hub/wheel, and everything except the pedals and the rear wheel are original Lambert/Viscount.
Alas the rear wheel is a generic Araya rim with Shimano skewers and I don't know what for the hub or cassette.
Anyone have a complete rear wheel assembly (or pedals) they would be willing to sell?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new bike...that was a while to wait for the bike you lusted after since the mid 70's - I hope it is all you were expecting! It might be a while before members with these parts for sale drop by... In the mean time if you can't wait for Lambert, then something like this would not be too out of place for the pedals www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SR-SAKAE-RINGYO-SP-100AL-Alloy-Quill-Racing-Pedals-/401372091875?hash=item5d73a415e3:g:-NwAAOSwDKtY2SMjOne of the things that you might encounter looking for Lambert specific pedals is that one or both of the end caps will have worked lose and gone down a drain cover around about the time of Barry Sheens last 500cc super bike win. And in my experience, you are more likely to find a beat up old bike with correct wheels for yours, easier than just finding one wheel (in terms of price it almost always seems cheaper too). I have seen the old Aerospace go for less than a set of wheels many times. The 600 and Titelist both original on yours. Do you think it got the paint touched up.? Normally the lines are fairly crisp. If you can post some pics up, then there is a picture posting guide somewhere in the introduction section. It might help people give a bit more info on it. I think the original advert for it might be around on here somewhere but it's not springing up in the search,

Between 5 Lamberts, I have 3 sets of pedals (only 1 dust cap) and zero toe clips. I have 2 maybe 3 Original rear wheels w/the Lambert hub and Lambert freewheel. I'll keep in touch.

Thanks folks! There are a couple pair of pedals on ebay now that I have my eye on, sans dust caps of course! I will hit the local recycle shops here - it's amazing what they have squirreled away and I may get lucky. I'll get pictures up eventually; I am slow at that. The paint lines, specifically the 'darts' on the main tubes off the headset are very crummy and indeed look like an amateur job, EXCEPT where some has flaked off I can see the original white base coat underneath. Did Viscount have an all white frame that someone may have decided to update? I may just have to make do with the Araya rim for a while until another Viscount falls into my lap. It only took, what, 40 years for this one? :-)
