For tyres you need to check which variety of 20" wheel the bike has - either 406 mm or 451 mm. As you already have a Delta, presumably you know this? Is it the larger one, like most Raleigh 20s sold in the UK? Confusingly, most US Raleigh 20s seem to have 40mm wheels. Traditional white walls appear quite often on eBay. Ones that fit 451 mm rims, if I recall correctly, are fractional inch sizes like 20x15/8 whereas ones for 406 mm are decimal inch sized, like 20x1.5

Thanks for info. I didn't know that as I have never had to buy any for the other one, and not even given it a thought. It sounds less straightforward than I presumed. My other one is stored in our camper van , for which I'd have to make a journey to refer to our lock up, so this is very helpful!
