I'm assuming it is in the UK, judging from the car licence plates, although it's an unusual font and colour for a road name. Google comes up with Viscount Roads in Stanwell, Staines; Padgate, Warrington, Cheshire; Northampton; and Peterborough. I'm guessing Warrington?

it's an unusual font and colour for a road name I think it's not 'official' (adopted road), and maybe not on maps, hence the font. It does have a tenuous link to Viscount bikes. It's a road within East Midlands Airport, and hence a tribute to the Viscount aeroplane.

It's a road within East Midlands Airport, and hence a tribute to the Viscount aeroplane. . . . and according to Cusqueno's original writings and a quote on Blogger, the Viscount marque of bicycles were named after the aircraft, which was British-made and had a good reputation, so an apt sign well spotted!
