Hello. I'm an active member of Bikeforums and have acquired a few mainly 1980's vintage steel road/touring bikes over the years. It was through a link in one of their Classic and Vintage threads about restoring a Viscount that sent me to this site. The Lambert and Viscount bikes are truly unique and were ahead of their time. Anyway I have a Lambert Grand Prix that I've come to the conclusion that I will never get to fix up mainly because I have too many bikes taking up space. I've posted some parts on my local Craigslist and thought I would post a link here in the event someone is in need of any of them. Please feel free to contact me through the CL email if you have any interest or questions. As noted I also have the frame complete with the death fork but there are a couple dents that are cosmetic and not a problem structurally. I would be willing to ship any of it within the US. Thanks and if there are rules against this type of post on this forum please let me know and do what is necessary. Parts Ad: minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/bop/6032828108.html

Thanks for the warm welcome! I look forward to checking out pictures of some of the fine machines posted in this forum.
BTW - Someone locally is interested in my frame and possibly some other parts. I'll update my ad accordingly.

If those parts were in the UK, then I would certainly be in contact! Good luck

Welcome aboard badgerbiker! It seems like Minneapolis is a hotbed for Viscount/Lambert. I often see good listings on C.L. and picked up my Aerospace GP from Minneapolis C.L. It seems to be a very bike friendly city despite the long winters. Maybe Greg LeMond from nearby Wayzata once rode one in his youth. Who knows!

Lemond is a Californian; I use to know his bio pretty well but it now escapes me. Did he ski, get hurt skiing and took up cycling? That sounds familiar. But yes, I guess he moved to Minnesota. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_LeMond
