This appeared out of nowhere at Working Bikes, where I volunteer occasionally. Best looking one I've seen live since about 1980. They want $200, btw, but it's just too pretty to post in the sales thread, and will likely be sold before any of us can respond. sigh. Frank Frank

Very nice! The paint work looks like it came off the line yesterday. But, the pedals...oh no, have mercy! - however that leads me to think, has it ever been ridden? As the pedals may never have been attached after delivery and therefore those pair were put on just to sell it?

Well, the pro bike refurbishing crew at Working Bikes is a pretty dedicated bunch of guys. The tires are new, as is the bar tape, so I'd guess that the cables are as well. But you're right, the rest of the bike shows age, but not wear. Those pedals were likely put on in the shop, but it's possible one of the pro guys took a liking to the OEM pedals and grabbed them for personal use. Or that they've had one or more of the OEM pedals self destruct under a customer's foot and now take them off as a matter of course.
If I find out any more, I'll let everyone know.
