Here's a nice little mixte Grand Touring Viscount for someone, from 1981. It's pink, which might not be to everyone's taste and looks pretty small. A good saddle and should clean up well. Altus RD and Tourney CP brakes. I hope that enormous thing on the front forks is some sort of ray gun, not just an inefficient front light.

That is an appealing model. I particularly like the saddle, mudguards and the colour! Stella are you watching?!

I'm going to save a few photos of this.
Check those lugs out folks, especially on the headtube. That to me, looks a bit more fancy than say your typical Bocamas.
Drop out adjusting screws and what did you folks call it? An integrated Rear Mech hanger, no claw.
Pretty awesome bike and yes, probably a bit small for most of us but not prohibitively so. 5'8", 172ish cms would probably fit.
The crank appears to be black. And a triple? That'd be good.... so, definitely an add on, probably in the last 20 years if not much sooner, say last 10 years.
Love that bike, in my experience, if a bike has adjusting screws; it's usually more than just "hi-ten" frame material.

Not a great picture. There used to be a lot of Nervex style (copy?) lugs from Japan; my guess is one of these. I am attaching a picture of some similar, but different, Nervex lugs. I have a Mondia with Nervex lugs and a Carabela (from Mexico) with their own Nervex copies (they are very close). Cheers Jim

Yes, that is what I'm talking about. Maybe Peugeot used Nervex a lot.

Hi all - Not trying to dissuade any bidding and not looking to stamp my name on this one, but if it stays low then I might well bid on it for my wife. Jem

Also, about 4 months back, that one fellow was looking for a Mixte; anyway, for whomever! A good price and I'm not there.

That isn'y my bid, but now having second thoughts anyway as it is the top side of Manchester , so a good 4 hour round trip and that M6 is always an unpleasant experience at the best of times.

Train an option? I once went up to Leeds to pick up a Viscount by train. The day return ticket was quite cheap.

And for that reason, I'm out.
