Saw this on a lovely custom cafe racer last week: I thought it summed up an attitude to the machines we love. In our case we are trying to recreate something that is no longer available through the retail market, so we have to build them. But I think it also describes, for me anyway, an attitude that goes beyond just love of Viscounts. It's about people who know what they want, know the market can't provide it, and so create it themselves. Perhaps the market can provide it, but the joy is to be had in the making, not just in the buying. Creativity vs Consumption perhaps? Whaddyazallreckon? b

'Built Not Bought' 'Creativity vs Consumption' 'Blue Collar Exotica for the Masses' They all seem good to me. We're not short on snappy tag lines here are we? I agree, it's all about the attitude though and keeping these beauties alive.

It's not us who have the attitude, it's the Viscounts and Lamberts that are full of it. We are only keeping the history alive. And rightly so. If we don't do it, then who will?
My tagline is an altered 'old' one: Keep the Viscount pride alive.
