i haven't seen one of these before, but it looks genuine. One for US residents I feel, given the p&p charge that shows for shipping to the UK!

Does someone in the USA here want to facilitate for John?
Shipping and Handling is a king's ransom; $33. That's obscene.
But here in the US; "buy it now" price is $4.99 and free shipping.
I stopped using credit cards and I don't have a debit card for reasons; in the old days, one could send in a check or money order on ebay. Does that still apply? I am registered on ebay; but I can't tell if they still accept checks or money orders mailed to sellers. If they did, I gladly would help.
From what I know, one can send things to the UK really at a rather reasonable price. $5 or something. One would have to find a flat envelope. The post office has those.
I use to get things from a seller in Rotheram England; it did not cost much. The seller got things from the Nottingham Raleigh factor. That all worked out well and I thought very reasonably per mail rates.
Also, there is the facilitator's thread over at bikeforums.net in the Classic and Vintage area, I know people know that forum.
Maybe members here can privately message on this deal.

Can do, just say the word. Jim If no-one else has a pressing desire for this, then Jim, please buy it for me and PM me the cost plus p&p and your PayPal address and I will send the money. Postage packed with a sheet of thin card in an ordinary envelope would be fine. Many thanks, John

He is selling four of these; so I bought all four. If you want all four, that is fine by me . If you want just one, two or three, that is fine as well. If someone else wants one, just let me know. Since the greatest interest would be in the UK, getting all of them to you, might be a good plan to save on shipping.
All the Best Jim

John, If you're acting as UK distributor, put me down for one.

Would it be easiest for Jim and probably cheaper for him to send them all to me? I would pay for them all and then distribute them as Rob suggests. If no-one can see any flaws in this cunning plan, let's go for it.

I thought I posted this reply yesterday, but I must have had finger problems (user keyboard interface - UKI - fault).
I'm happy to act as post box for anyone from UK wanting a post card, if Jim is still willing to buy and post 'em.

Jim,
The postcards arrived safely today - just five days from California. Many thanks for buying and sending them to us. Thanks also for the local map you sent with the post cards. You're within reach of several interesting National and State parks including Mojave and Death Valley. I expect there are a lot of interesting trails. Does the long one - is it the Pacific Crest Trail or something like that - start around there? As in the book & film 'Wild' which I have and have read but can't find at the moment. Also a couple of famous Air Force Bases - Vandenberg and Edwards. For the more juvenile of the forum members (you know who you are) I see that about 35-40 miles north east of your home is a place called Wyleys Knob.
I'll post the cards on in a day or two and let people know the cost.
John

I thought you might enjoy the map; something from California that is hard to find in the UK. I also put a small label by my home. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses Highway 58 just east of us. We are in Central California, so it starts and finishes far from here. Many PCT hikers use Tehachapi as a way stop, for mail and supplies. I see them mainly at the post office and at a wonderful German bakery we have in town; they do love to eat! I used to teach college classes at Edwards AFB, and spent 37 years (my day job) at the Borax mine in Boron (20 Mule Team Borax, owned by RioTinto). The commute was 134 miles round trip; lets see, 134 miles, five days a week, 50 weeks a year, 37 years (for the first 20 years, I commuted without air-conditioning) good grief! Our location in the mountains is wonderful. Two hours (by car) to the sea, two hours to the giant redwoods, two hours to big LA (actually, I hate going there, too many people) 30 minutes to the desert, three hours to Death Valley (which is filled with German tourists in the summer, gluttons for punishment say I). We are surrounded by mountains; which makes even short ride on my bike, a bit challenging. I still think that a Death Fork Ride in California is a great idea! I used Google Earth to (sort of) visit your address (street view), nice place! It reminds me of the neighborhoods I see in English mysteries. Cheers Jim
