Good spot! Looks very likely to be a Superbike frame to my eye. The only question mark I have is that the bottle cage mounts are brazed onto/into the frame on the Superbike, and therefore why would the cage need cable ties as on this one? (not impossible that he's a belt and braces guy , and it's screwed in and has ties to stop any movement?)
The other strange thing to my mind is that this model was meant to be a top of the range , shop window , drool-a-lot bike. If so, why let it leave the factory with a set of older, 'inferior' components on it? It doesn't seem likely even by Viscount standards does it? But then to imagine that the owner discarded the Dura-Ace components , but sort out older Lambert parts , also seems a bit odd. And we have plenty of previous evidence that Viscount did send a whole mish mash of things out of the door.
I wonder how/why the seller knows and lists it as Lambert? Is there a sticker, provenance/history from first owner?
All that said, I'd still bet a decent amount of money on it being a Superbike frame. In very good condition, but way over the top price.(or maybe that is the conversion rates nowadays, seeing as the £ isn't what it used to be)

Perhaps Lambert produced a full chrome model, although it is surprising that there are no decals - they put loads on even the gold-plated model. Perhaps the owner wanted an ultra-clean look?
It's a pity the photos aren't of slightly higher quality - they seem to loose definition at a critical stage of magnification. So I can't see what FD it has. And what is that near the top of the seat tube? A repair? A cable tie or pump peg or ...?
I think the rear derailleur is a SunTour Honor - a capable but heavy steel beast. My fillet brazed Lambert, which I think came as 100% original, had one of those fitted. The bars, stem, brakes, brake levers and seat post all suggest a pre-Viscount Lambert as the seller suggests.
I got quite excited when I saw triitout's post, then I realised that it is in the US ('Imperial Beach', Ca)
Thanks for posting. Have we any members in the vicinity?
