That does look to have been skilfully restored. I like the shade of blue used for the head tube joints and seat tube band - a bit darker than standard, I think. Porthole chainring, V-branded brake callipers and QR skewers through L/F hubs. Nice. The price looks almost reasonable for it's condition and the work that must have gone into it. Replacement Brake straddle cables with cylindrical nipples (rather than spherical) are available from JE James. |

Very nice with the blue bar tape and cable housings. Reminds me of my "Mojave" GP in terms of pristineness. Is it better to stay with the original white cables and black cloth tape or go with the more esthetic upgrade? Tough call but a great bike either way!
