There's an interesting old Viscount on Craigslist in London too london.craigslist.co.uk/bik/4374432769.htmlI'm not sure I believe the story about the Galli brakes and this isn't a gold bike. The seller has sent me a picture of the brakes & levers in their original box, so perhaps a buyer could sell them to offset the steep 475GBP asking price and fit proper Viscount ones. Steve tells me that he has seen this bike for sale before, initially in the US. Perhaps the seller would be susceptible to offers? |

Well, we seemingly have a contradiction here as I believe that bike on Craiglist is not in London. I helped new member Tracktt post up his pictures on the board here viscountandlambert.boards.net/thread/116/mikes-bike-saleand it is the same set of pictures. He is in Buffalo New York. I will follow that up... Anyway, a quick peep out of the windows confirms it isn't London. But, I agree that the Chicago Craiglist find is a very attractive bike at a fair price! |

I'm using a new Craigslist app, so perhaps it mislead me. But it clearly says London and £475 not $475 or any odd amount. Strange.

That listing has been floating around the US Craig's List for several years in several different locations. The price is ridiculous since it is just a GP with gold brakes. Compared to what I secured the Mojave GP for, it's off the wall. I don't trust the listing one bit.  |
